Who Cares? Poem

We care, need someone to tell you what your rights are?
Our workers will travel to you no matter how close or far,
They are here to help you say what you need too,
And especially here to support you,
The workers are caring and will take the time to listen to what you have to say,
And help you through the steps you reach along the way,
If your in care and need a voice,
Our workers will help you and give you the choice,
Kirsten is caring and fun loving,
Kirsti is straight to the point and likes hugging,
Jimmy is the band member and even sings for you,
Linda gets the boring banking but still has a smile too,
Jen is a giggler and can lift a rooms mood with a single smile,
Janice, need a technical hand, she’ll go the extra mile,
Caroline, she will join in with the break dancing and make it extra fun,
Liz has a massive heart and will remember you for years to come,
Ray is reliable dependant and always there to listen,
Denny is like the big brother you may be missing,
Elizabeth is quiet and thoughtful but will never judge anyone,
Sharon likes to “act” quiet but she isn’t, and she is never glum,
Lorna likes team building as long as it doesn’t involve hill walking,
Rosemary always looks amazing and likes talking,
Kim loves a good girly night out,
Colin loves his cycling club and is never likely to shout,
Dawn is really supportive, bubbly and loves post-its in the shape of stars,
Scott likes to name the mountains in Nepal after types of cars,
Denise is a Zumba fan and has just run the 10k,
Louise loves raising funds for the who cares? Charity,
Mary passes in a blur as she is always rushing about,
Karen is the newbie of the gang and is always in high heels without a doubt,
Pauline done a rip slide across the Clyde,
Steve is a surfer and loves a massive wave to ride,
Christina likes to eat healthily and is a power walker,
Cheryl-Ann is going to India this year on exchange and is a massive talker,
Andrew has moved from the highlands covering maternity leave,
Susan done canoeing for charity would you believe,
Gary never stops working as at home he is a foster carer,
Jamie lives in a female only house and is a crazy face booker,
Kevin plays rugby and would give anyone his last pound,
Grant organised the Nepal trip which was did astound,
Lorraine’s favourite film last year was “UP” as she is a big kid at heart,
Carole loves colour therapy and trips to Australia when the winter starts,
Kirsty talks far too fast and needs a new watch battery as she is always late,
Lynne likes playing the guitar and loves watching foxes and birds this is her biggest trait,
Claire works late in to the night getting her work done,
And now we have the biggest person in who cares? To come,
Heather, well what can we say about heather?
She holds the whole place together,
She is the director for who cares, and she has done an amazingly well,
She is loving caring listens to anything, you can tell,
Well this sums up our workers and the old place, to date,
So if your in a “unit” “place” “young offenders” or “home”
And you need our advocacy then don’t hesitate to phone.
